Elimination of chlorinated solvents in a well water
Stenco has solved a problem of the presence of tri and tetrachlorethylene in a well water that needed to be used as process water in a food industry. It was required to have the 4 m3 / h provided by a well from which a water with a very acceptable quality was obtained, but which presented an important contamination of chlorinated solvents. To solve the problem, a stripping system was designed to eliminate the volatile elements of the water, transferring them, by evaporation, to a forced stream of air.
