Design of an Ultrafiltration previous to a Reverse Osmosis
Stenco design. He built and started an Ultrafiltration System (UF) prior to the Reverse Osmosis Equipment for a production of 20 m3 / h. The reason for making a UF system was because the industry in question was supplied with a river water with physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics with a lot of variability. The average conductivity of the supply water was 1,620us / cm and once treated a conductivity lower than 16us / cm is achieved. For our client, our solution has meant obtaining very good quality water for the process and for feeding the steam boiler, with minimum maintenance needs and significant economic savings due to water and fuel savings.
