Stenco studied the problem, designed, built, commissioned and performed technical assistance for a new Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (EDARI) of 1,500 m3 / day from a customer in the food sector, which poured its water into the sewage system connected to WWTP municipal. The effluent had a pre-treatment with high and discontinuous point pollution of COD, toxicity (MI), salinity and MES / SS. After the new biological treatment plant consisting of a sieve, a homogenisation basin, a CAF float, a biological reactor of 2,150m3, a decanter with sludge recirculation and a sludge dewatering line by means of a centrifuge, they achieved the limits of discharge to public water . Once the new EDARI was completed, the client lowered water tax by more than 70%, saved 25% of maintenance costs and recovered the investment made in 3 years.
